Identifying your roof window

In order to determine the exact spare part for your window type, we need the data from the name plate of your window. You can find it with the window open mostly on the right or left behind the handlebar

Locate the data plate on your roof window

Refer to the typesign of your window, as seen below. All VELUX roof windows produced after 1968 have a type sign stating exact information about the window located in the corner of the top sash behind the ventilation flap.

Since 2014

Locate the silver colored sign on the left hand side of your window when the window is open.

2000-2013

Locate the grey colored sign on the right hand side of your window, visible when the window is open.
